We welcome Three New Business Development Managers
Every1Mobile is pleased to announce the appointment of three Business Development Managers: Priya Kathpal, Henri Habershon and Emily Richardson. All of them come with years of business development experience in the international development sectors, and will significantly contribute to building E1M’s programmes portfolio across Sub-Saharan Africa and other emerging economies. The appointments will also help the company to have strong regional focus aligned to big donors and target partners across the US, UK, EU, and Africa.
Based in Washington DC, Priya Kathpal will spearhead our new business activities in the USA. She holds an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University School of Business, and has more than 15 years of experience bidding on US government-funded projects. Priya has led business development strategy and teams at Chemonics, Louis Berger, and Creative Associates. Moreover, she has experience working overseas in Afghanistan and Ethiopia, and has a proven track record in new business development.
Henri Habershon, based in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and soon in Cape Town (SA), will be responsible for new business development for Every1Mobile across the African continent. Henri has over ten years experience in international development, working and living across the world in senior programme and leadership roles. Before joining Every1Mobile, she was building partnerships and securing funding for Plan International working in nutrition, education, child protection and financial inclusion in Ethiopia. Moreover, she has a proven track record of building consortia and winning new business on programmes funded by the EU, DFID, and USAID with a keen understanding of Africa.
Based in Brighton (UK), Emily Richardson’s will be instrumental in writing winning proposals to help Every1Mobile secure large contracts from both the international development sector and corporate clients. She holds an MA in development management, and has over ten years international development experience. Emily is particularly interested in gender equality, education and youth engagement. Prior to joining E1M, Emily worked with Comic Relief, Itad, and InFocus, where she gained solid business development, project management and M&E expertise. Emily has coordinated and written more than 70 proposals, many of which were multi-million-pound opportunities.
